What are imperatives?

We use imperative form  to directly tell someone to do a job or activity, usually in a strong way. We can give give instructions, suggestions, orders, warnings or directions.

Examples of Imperative Sentences

Here are some examples of imperative sentences:

We can give some examples about the persons using imperative form
. We don't have to be very polite.
  •     Father to son: Do your homework now!
  •     Teacher to student: Bring your math book to the class tomorrow!
