How to use "As long as" / "So long as"

The words as long as and so long as can interchangeably be used to mean "if -  on condition that"

So/As long
as can be used instead of "if" to express a condition

This is another way to express condition and result situations.

as long as and so long as have the same meanings. We can use both for meaning "if."
