Question Word
"What" question asks for information about something:
Form: What + am/is/are + Subject
Singular Subject: What is this?
Plural Subject: What are these?
Note: We don't use yes or no in the answer. We just give some information:

› What is in your bag?
It is a small cat.› What are those?
They are my books.
