Information Questions with "How" Question Word with am - is - are

"How" question asks for information about manner, the way to do:


Form: How + am/is/are + Subject


Singular Subject:   How is she?

Plural Subject:  How are you?


Note: We don't use yes or no in the answer. We just give some information:

Example Sentences:

How are you?
 → I am fine.

How is your father?
→ He is very ill.

How are the workers?
→ They are unhappy.

How are your friends?
→ They are very tired.
How is Micheal?
 → He is okay.

How is the weather?
→ It is cold. / It's hot.

How is the film?
→ The film is very bad.

How is my idea?
